I sit up straight in the middle of the night Shock to the system, fight or flight Can't see a thing but I hear you breathing in the dark. And my heart, my heart is beating It beats so hard And my heart, my heart is beating My heart, my heart is beating. I Wait still as a stone The clock is ticking ever louder And the ringing in my ears Becomes all I can hear With you creeping closer And and your breathing's growing near Frozen by my fear I'm frozen by my fear
2.
Please don't bother our dystopian father tonight. Boiling anger makes you want to run and hide Limitless power and a head full of hate Doesn't matter what we do or say I don't want to sleep tonight So I'll try and get in your head Breaking down all the parts as you perform (them) Feel your fears Feel your dread It takes us all down a notch. The things you've done The things you've said Hold your tongue for our belligerent uncle He has to have everything he wants Childish tantrums, they work so well Distracting us with the fear he sells I don't want to sleep tonight So I'll try and get in your head Breaking down all the parts as you perform (them) Feel your fears Feel your dread It takes us all down a notch. The things you've done The things you've said

Freezing 05:49
Coiled up spring So tense, so wound up Let me go and see me fly Leave the scene with a thousand fires burning. You're still cold, no you're not cold you're freezing. You're still cold, no you're not cold you're freezing. Leave them all there, leave them all behind. Leave them all there, leave them all behind. Leave them all there, leave them all behind. Leave them all there, leave them all behind. It's not your fault that you're embroiled In this awful story This awful war, what you do is for Survival and glory You're so cold you feel warm, but you're not, you're freezing. You're so cold you feel warm, but you're not, you're freezing. Leave it all there, leave it all behind. Leave it all there, leave it all behind. Leave it all there, leave it all behind. Leave it all there, leave it all behind.

How would you like to learn to swim? Cauliflower Love Puffing out the skin of her limbs Cauliflower Love If you swing too hard you'll kill the ball What kind of service are you providing Mr. Beaumont had rubber legs Cauliflower Love Brenda's explosive power in the wheelchair Cauliflower Love When you sing too hard you sound all wrong What kind of service are you providing I was taken to the home of a Dutch policeman Cauliflower Love I was so startled I lost my chance Cauliflower Love Man is like an auto teller Always such a clever debtor

Lowlight 03:51
Lights are low time to pretend sun comes up darkness descends Cause and effect tells me I'm wrong Want to feel right, be right Won't last long In the light of day It's a mistake Feeling everything feeling fake Deconstruct myself Somehow gets me through Keeps me in the twilight, here with you
6.
Would you believe You could make the same mistake twice Yeah, alright Yeah, alright And all you achieved could be undone by your bad decisions But who would know who's going to say who's going to cross that line when you get in the way Everyone around knows what you are A goddamn, modern sophisticated star Take what you want Like it's all for you You said it's good for them too "After all, they were seeking admiration" When they let you push them up against the wall But who would know who's going to say who's going to cross that line when you get in the way Everyone around knows what you are A goddamn, modern sophisticated star

about

Somewhere in late October, I got it in my head that I was going to perform live again as Sinkcharmer. The thing was that I wasn't too interested in the notion of building up a band and figuring out/rehearsing songs that had already been written. So I got a groovebox (ie my band) and started composing on it. First song I did happened to be an incredibly old one ('Cauliflower Love') that just fit great over top of the beat that I had been playing with. From there I kept going and spit out this EP and got a show together that's happening before the end of 2017 (12/28). This EP/show may just be a single point in time that I pass by on the way to the next EP show.

Sinkcharmer Ballston Spa

Sinkcharmer started as the 4-track project/band of Paul Coleman (of Haley Moley) back in the early 90's. Originally known as Alger Hiss, there may be 5 or 6 people with those tapes out there.
